Luisa Sims writes songs that land somewhere between Billie Holiday’s bluesy depth and Jenny Lewis’s folk-pop candor. Lyrically precise and unhurried, her music has a quality that is harder to name: a kind of quiet insistence in the way she delivers a line that pulls listeners closer. 

She has recorded with Grammy-nominated producer Jay-E and earned her live reputation opening for national touring acts including Shawn James, Michigan Rattlers, and The Talbott Brothers. In 2023, she released her debut EP Eve, produced with David Beeman at Native Sound Recording Studio. A confident first statement from an artist who clearly has more to say.

She is now recording her debut full-length album. More creatively involved in the production, more willing to go to difficult places, and by her own account, more herself than she has ever been on record.
